I'm introverted for sure. I've always been. Severely so. It feels like I'm getting even more so over time, but that's probably just mental illness.

I think the true definition of introversion is craving significant amounts of alone time

For example I have a handful of close friends that I genuinely like, but I regularly turn down invitations from them because I just want to kick it at my place and read a book or play some vidya or cook something or whatever

I like to think of socialising as something that drains from a pool of energy that regenerates when I'm alone

inb4 norman reee, i'm not complaining about this lifestyle, it's very satisfying for me, basically exactly what I want out of my social life

I definitely fall in the middle of the introvert/extrovert spectrum. Being around people gives me energy and drive, but after a while I get real restless for alone time.

Definitely introverted to some extent, though, I haven't made a new friend in over two years, and I haven't missed a single beat in my life.

I am. But I don't describe myself as much. I'm never around anyone, I have no friends and no one in my family besides my mom acknowledge me.

Both. I can't socialize for more than an hour or so before becoming exhausted. I like spending time alone in silence. I like some of the people around me, I just can't live up to social expectations. I do wish I had a gf/closer friends though.

i think it's just what i've become used to. as a kid (pre-middle school) I loved being around people, the more the better.

I keep to myself most of the time, and usually only talk to the few distant people I used to know from high school. I don't even do that too often t b h.
Personally not interested in talking with strangers/outsiders and don't like people I don't know around me.

I'm chad among guys, like I make everyone laugh and shit
I have no shame in talking to girls, but I simply don't know what to talk about at all
and I'm not very smooth honestly

I would say this describes me pretty well. There's a lot of time where I'm perfectly content being alone. Then there's days where I wish I had someone to reach out to. feelings are annoying, right?

Very annoying. Like you I'm often fine just playing vidya or reading in silence, and it helps me. Other times I just wish the nights weren't so lonely. It's a bad place to be in.

if only I had a gf I might come out of my shell a bit, but because of my uselessness and aversion of social situations it will never happen for me
