I think it's accurate. I lost my friends 3 years ago, and now my personality is basically non-existent. I've also noticed changes from "hanging out" with anons on 4chan, I catch myself having insanely racist thoughts every now and then and it's a little disturbing.

It seems like everyone here that wants to talk to people are ERPing gays or traps. Every time I've tried joining a Discord group from here its always filled with people trying to find people to ERP with or just post porn. Its terrible.

No. The saying is about being judged.
For instance, you could hang out with leonardo dicaprio but you won't be him, or bang any of the girls that want to bang him. However people might think you wanna live a private island and talk about saving the environment.
I suppose some people would think you're a tree hugger or something but at least they won't be making fun of you for being a vegan or something.
