and the end result would not be super great. First of all, this would be built chiefly out of three shipping containers. Secondly, shared bathrooms (like a dorm), kitchen and laundry. The hallway connecting the bedrooms to the bathroom would be shielded from the elements but not truly indoors. The living spaces themselves would be roughly 7.5" by 12.5". Not even 100sqft for a room.

Those costs also considered the plot of land to already be connected to city water and electricity. Water purification and god forbid electricity generation are so prohibitively expensive one of us would have to hit the lottery.

It really doesn't matter how "replacable" or "necessary" one job over the other is given how minute our theoretical nation would be in comparison to the Atlas that is the global market.
