Don't make the mistake.

It would be nice not to need glasses but I don't want to go blind.
>>
Would be nice to not be half blind anymore, but I'm way too afraid they might fuck up my eyes for good.

>>
I've been wearing glasses for 7 years now and haven't tried contacts once. I just don't fuck with putting shit in my eyes ya know?

Just eye augmentation effect
>>
>>29857751

I'm thinking about doing it. Coke bottle glasses all my life, -8 diopters (in my good eye).

The glasses help complete my Nerdy Asian appearance, and I've come to realize it puts a wall in front of my face, as far as emotional interactions with women.

OP, tell us more about what happened -- what kind of surgery (RK, Bladed / Bladeless Lasik, etc), how long ago, complications?

I make the lasik in april.

Don't fuck your life for women
Remember Avoid contact with the eyes
>>
>>29857751
Why? What happened?

I've been thinking about doing it. I have shit eye sight and can't even wear glasses because they give me double vision. Would be nice not to have to bother with glasses
>>
>>29858044
How long ago did you get it? Those side effects should go away after a few weeks.

How do people with glasses kiss women? Don't the glasses get in the way? Wouldn't it be really awkward to have to take glasses off before kissing?

>tfw I wear glasses but don't know what I would do if I ever had the opportunity to kiss
>>
>>29858625
Dude the way you made the thread I thought you went blind.

It's normal. My father had terrible eyesight, but he got refractive surgery (from Svyatoslav Fyodorov's apprentice, that's pretty cool) Sure, he couldn't see for a couple of days, but 30 years on his eyesight is still perfect.

Yeah that's why you're meant to sit in the dark for a day you fucking retard.

You'll wake up tomorrow morning with fine vision.
>>
>>29858817

I'm really happy for your father.

But 4 months of pain for me

I was considering getting this surgery because I think glasses don't suit me at all. Anyone done this and had a good experience?
>>
>>29858817
Your dad got his eyes made 30 years ago? I thought laser eye surgery is pretty new and in an open beta so to speak.

I did that . Are you stupid
>>
>>29859033

Back then they had RK (which technically doesn't count as "laser" surgery because it's done with just a scalpel) back then, and a later on PRK.

Same here. I almost fainted trying to get contacts into my eye.

Help

I have astigmatism and terrible nearsightedness so I wear toric lenses but after maybe six hours my eyes get itchy and irritated and I have to take them out and then my eyes are very bloodshot

Doesn'tmg matter how new or clean the lenses are. Do I just need to go have another contact fitting?

I look like a cuck in my glasses
>>
>>29859016
You look whatever with glasses just like the run of the mill Stacey. Do what you want you'll look mostly whatever once again.
>>
>>29859033
It was done with a diamond scalpel
>>
>>29859033
nah, afaik it's been up for a long time.

From people I know, 90% is extremely happy. The other 10% went pretty bad and regret it.

I'm ok with contact lenses, by the way. I would never go back to glasses.

I hate my glasses, but I'm afraid, that I won't be able to get the contacts in or out. I can't even use eyedrops, because they are so sensitive. Plus I've heard that contacts can move in your eye if your head gets a shock or something. Fuck me and my 10% vision.

I had trouble tolerating contact lenses, always had irritation problems and tons of eye-goo regardless of how well I cleaned them.

Turned out I was allergic to the preservative in the solution.
