I always hated it when teachers went like DERP ANON WHY DONT YOU SHOW SOME EMOSHUNS READING YOUR TEXT? but kind of thought you're a creep for doing it when they didn't like the exact part of the text at the same time. Which one is it now? You want me to play a role or be a pupil who just stops reading there and goes "B-b-but Mrs Douche, that is a bad word, am I even allowed to say it?"
I mean, the roles are clear. It's the teacher's job to make sure that everyone understands that characters like these are necessary for telling a critical story and that you need to work with the text to get to the point where you can truly say "I think I got the message".
We had a few of these incidents, it was ridiculous, as if the teachers hadn't even read the book before and were shocked about what came next.
It's like if you're playing your role too well it's also not welcome because that MUST mean you mean what you are saying. Kek'd with disgust

It's Christoph Waltz and Hans Landa all over again, all those retarded late night hosts like Letterman wouldn't even let him explain his portrayal of the character but he tried his best to seriously answer their questions anyway. Letterman kept poking him about "Yes but your character is so evil how can you do that" the best part is Waltz didn't even create Landa
