>Try something new
>Can't instantly get good at it without trying
>Give up
iktf
the only thing I stick with are video games because they require almost 0 actual effort
>>29852492
What, did you start playing tf2 or something?
>>29852525
>tf2 is the only thing anyone's ever tried to get good at ever
>>29852525
You're such a fucking autist, man.
You gotta keep doing it, until you get right. A big difference between you and chad is that Chad doesn't know when to give up.
>>29852525
>implying tf2 is hard
He is obviously playing League faggot.
Try cooking. You might not get good straight away but you will constantly improve, and there's always food to eat at the end of it. So what if it wasn't that nice the first try? Just cover it in cheese and hot sauce like all your NEET snax and try again tomorrow.
Learning to cook brought me out of crippling alcoholism (I'm talking 24/7 shakes, inability to talk or stand up without having a drink) and a year later I got a job as a chef at a hotel, first job in 4 years. It's hard work but I honestly feel happy now.

>10,000 hours
That's the approximate amount of hours experts theorise it takes to become masterful at something.
1/5th of that is probably a reasonable expectation to get good which is still 2000 hours or 5 hours and 45 minutes a day, every day, for a year.

>Tfw I have not beaten a video game sans walkthrough since Donkey Kong Country
>>29852649
Kinda strange, DKC is far harder than a vast percentage of the games produced in the last 10 years.

THEN WHY AM I NOT GOOD AT SMASH YET???
I'VE BEEN PLAYING IT MY ENTIRE LIFE!!
>tfw you're not good at anything
>tfw everything in life is a hard struggle
why live
>>29852757
Probably because other people invest more time.
>>29852757
doesn't guarantee you will get good
maybe your shouldn't have spent all your time playing story mode, competing against scrubs, or maybe you were just a shitter who stuck with cheap ass characters like meta knight and fox.
This has always been the central problem in my life. I don't think people that would cal people like us dumb truly appreciate the reality of the situation. I have LITERALLY never spent more than a few SECONDS trying to learn something.
Things that require memorization, I fail at, failed at Spanish in HS. Passed easy classes just by BSing my way through.
I'm glad I didn't have this fucking issue when I learned English as a 4 year old ffs
