Nope, I'm doing it on android. You need to root your phone. Pokemon go stops you from playing if you have mock locations enabled in dev options. However if you root your phone and use Fake GPS Location Spoofer PRO you can use it.
You need a rooted phone because you have to move the fake gps app to a system app and then use expert mode in the app. Then you can use the app without mock locations enabled. There's no way for pokemon go to detect it as a fake gps at this point.
There are a few downsides. The first being you need the pro version of the Fake GPS Location Spoofer as the free one doesn't come with expert mode. Costs 2 bongs. You can't download the apk of the full as it says your google account doesn't have a license for it. So you have to pay for it, no getting around that.
The second being you can't 'teleport' huge distances or it soft bans your account, where all pokestops give errors and pokemon run away from you. You have to make it seem like you are walking by faking the gps and teleporting short distances. That's why I can't just fake my gps to rochdale now as it would soft ban the account. I'll need to start a new one in rochdale.
Other then that it works fine, and beats having to walk around like a spaz all day. Gives you a huge advantage over walkers. There are some people reporting that the real gps can randomly kick in and teleport you, which soft bans your account, but I haven't had that happen. Think that depends on your phone model.
