What is "t."
What does it stand for
I only see people on 4chan going
>t. wagecuck
>t. neckbeard
Ive only noticed it until recently
HELP
its a meme you dip.
origiano
In finnish a common word that is equivalent to sincerely is often shortened as "t." in emails and stuff
So that means "sincerely, neckbeard"
>>29838308
>t. summerfag
thats question
t. regards questionfrogs
>>29838353
I've been here since '08 and I swear to Jesus in heaven I've only seen that shit until recently. I even tried to Google the answer but it didn't help.
>>29838351
Is this true? Or are you memeing?
How did it catch on here?
>>29838387
same, since searching google for single letters is impossible.
>>29838353
I've been here since 07 and it's ironically only since this summer that this meme became a meme.
I've also seen it on reddit
>>29838410
What I say makes sense. i can't force you to believe me.
I guess people just like finnish memes. it likely caught on through /int/
As an Italian I know that in formal letters we use t. as shortening of "tuo" which translates directly to "yours". Really don't know if that is the origin.
>>29838308
why do you keep reposting this thread you autistic retard
t.= terveisin
>>29838410
the spurdo bear meme introduced more finnish culture into 4chan and with it the t. finnish guy thing
now go write your shitty clickbait article faggot
>>29838484
W-what? This is my first thread of this kind.
>>29838308
It's short for "terveisin" which means "regards" in finnish, you usually put it in the end of a letter.
I think it was introduced first outside of finnish chans on krautchan
>>29838387
It's been a meme a long time on /int/ and in krautchan and ilylauta, but only recently spread to the rest of 4chins.
>>29838486
>>29838505
>>29838517
>>29838547
That's surprisingly less funny than I imagined. Thanks guys, how do I downvote the thread so people don't see it anymore?
>>29838434
It's been around for years you lying fucking newfag. How pathetic do you have to be to lie about how long you've posted on 4chan, really?
>>29838661
>t. ironic newfag
>>29838594
It's not really meant to be funny. It's actually useful, a shorthand for saying "I am a person that..."
t. somebody who also only learned about t. recently
Finngolian invasion weapon part two.
Soon we'll convert this whole Malaysian sock puppet forum.
it means "thanks"
>>29838308
>not intuitively grasping the function of the meme and using it accordingly
t. seasoned memer
>>29839370
This, sensors are ruining this site with their incompetence.
t.INTJ
>>29838308
>>29839370
>tfw young people can't even lurk properly anymore
How do you expect to get hired with this skillset
>>29838410
It is true. It's funny because it gives the message a formal greeting, even if the message is a retarded splur. It's even funnier when used completely out of context like in a comic speech bubble where one is not needed.
It's been a "tradition" between school kids for decades now, kinda like when drawing a penis on your friend's paper when he's not looking, but instead you would write something like
>You're a fag
>t. anon
It most likely found its way to internet thanks to these type of comics.
t. finn
Is asking what t. stands for part of the meme? I see so many people asking this and I can't tell whether I'm the newfag or all these other people are.
>>29838410
finnish memes are very popular on 4chan. most of them come from ylilautaor krautchan. first came spurdo, then came americabear, and now t.
>>29839793
it's such a dumb question. even if you don't know where it comes from, people should be able to infer how to use it just be watching others use it.
>>29839859
OP and many others I've seen clearly understand how to use it when they first see it.
They just want to know exactly what T. stands for.
t. You're a nigger.
>>29839859
I knew how it was used, I just didn't know what it stood for
>>29838594
most fresh means come from /int/
for example "really makes you think" comes from the british general in /int/
>>29839970
that's a pretty bitchin one
>>29840172
/brit/ is top meming all around
80% of all posts are memes or attempts to make memes
the most entertaining part of 4chan imo and i'm not even british
