that's a tough one, op. if you take the normie stance to live (other people and their feelings have no value / don't matter to you), there's literally nothing wrong with suicide
but if you take the NEET stance (other people matter too much to you), there is something wrong if you have someone that cares about you and who would be sad about it
It's more what the idea itself does to you. From a young age, I told myself I was going to be a lazy asshole, consume as much videogames, pornography and literature as I liked until my body fell apart at which point I would kill myself. Now none of these things do anything but remind me of what a failure I am in reality. If I had never entertained the idea of suicide I might not be such an enormous ass.

Suicide isn't necessarily wrong, I'm an adept of euthanasia but only in cases where the person is in extreme physical pain and there is nothing that can alleviate it. That's a pointless life, that person really cannot function, cannot feel happiness or relief not even for a moment. So in this case it's ok.
But otherwise life is about fighting. You think everyone else is living happy lives while you're a poor soul sulking? Well, they're not most of the time. Social media and overly public displays distort what goes on in reality. Meaningful relationships are very hard to come by. Life is shit. Some have it better than others, but what can we do about it?
