I was acquainted with two girls that went to a high school in the area through swim team. One got a gold medal at the Olympics 4 years ago on a relay team, the other got a silver during a long distance event. The girl that got a silver qualified again this Summer.
I don't know of anyone at my high school becoming famous, other than some minor NFL players. I did have a class at community college with a porn star. She was pretty ugly though, not deformed but she had a crazy trashy vibe about her. She would also loudly unwrap and eat Subway almost every day which bothered me.
