I only have 30x because I didn't feel I needed the 50s and desu if I get another pair of headphones I'd probably go all out and spend a couple of hundred
I have the regular M50s, but I don't really like them, tiny-ass earcups are incredibly uncomfortable and they have no soundstage. Pic related are a million times better and are only a little more expensive, maybe even cheaper if depending on where you live.

Been rocking it for years, the cord got harder for whatever the reason, when I did some research was related to human skin oils getting in contact with the cord (ex: touching it with your hands) and that would made the rubber super stiff.
Other than that it's perfect. If I wasn't a NEET fuck I would probably upgrade to another audio technica phone, fucking love those nips.
I have the m50x, a "special edition" greeny one that I bought from an online store in Australia. I'm no expert on sound, though so I can't give much of an informed opinion. Major complain people seem to have is that it sounds a bit 'flat', and I think I may have noticed that at first but sound seems pretty impressive and good to me.
You can't wear them constantly, though, because they're simply too tight. So if you're planning on having them on for hours on end, maybe look at something else.
