As a society, we do place women on a pedestal. My boyfriend doesn't want me to get a job because he wants to "take care of me" despite me living with him. I feel that I should pay half the rent and other costs of living, but he refuses. My mom doesn't want me to work because she wants me to make good grades in college and she pays for everything despite my protests. Women just can't deal with the real world. They need to be fed with constant attention, ego boosts and lies that their dreams will come true otherwise they will experience an emotional breakdown and severe depression. So far so good, but here is when the real problem starts - they want equality only when it suits them and cry against it when it's inconvenient for them.
