Man that you fear by Marilyn Manson. It's not like his Anthem-ish songs, it's quieter and toned down, plus it's super easy to take in, it's not too complex musically or lyrically.
Honestly his whole Anti-Christ Superstar album was a bit all over the place with soft songs like these, and messy dirty songs like Irresponsible Hate Anthem. All in all though, this is the best quiet song from the album I think. The backstory behind it was something like MM went to a family wedding, and they all saw him differently, like he wasn't the boy they loved, but instead 'the man that they feared'. Not sure if that's true, I think I read it in the comments, so whatever. The music video is a work of art in itself too. I love how it had a subtle little story to it without being in your face and overdramatic like most were back in the 90s. It's more thoughtful than the videos for Slo-Mo-Tion and Deep Six were.
Plus he was cute back then, so enjoy.
