Yes, not only will the genders be reversed, subject and object pronouns will no longer have meaning. Who says they would be picked for their physical and combative traits? They would clearly be picked on intelligence, health, and lack of disease. The modern world is almost all about brains these days as far as what gets done. We would probably breed a smaller soldier race separately, then selectivity breed the mainstream population who have the previously mentioned traits, while sterilizing the ones who don't. It wouldn't necessarily have to do with sex, as a lot of chads wouldn't make the mark, you would probably set up massive genealogy trees, and the breeder males and females would probably be quite select. Especially if women don't even have to carry to term, but if they do, they could still be quite select with the women, and pay them to breed and have kids, pay them nicely. This would probably improve our condition. I personally believe runaway AI theory will lead to our increase in usable intelligence way more and sooner than eugenics will.

there have been matriarchal societies before. the only thing that happens is that women slut around and nobody knows who the fathers are so the children are raised communally, and men have no incentive to produce because of this so the societies never advance past a simplistic agricultural lifestyle
modern feminism is leaning towards a nanny state where we do know who the fathers are but it doesn't matter because the state takes care of women. they slut around and men don't want to care for them, so they stop producing and eventually society collapses again.

I think you're correct about a sort of social breakdown, we're already witnessing that.
I don't think there will be any sort of collapse or reversion, though. Part of the reason feminism is so successful at the moment is that we're basically running off central banking and "unlimited" petroleum, computing, etc - there's basically no way for society to collapse or fail in that sense for a while now, and that might be the scariest thing - that feminist society can continue to bankroll itself for many many years.
