That's exactly why I do it. I still use the seasoning packet but I usually ad some meme sauce and an egg to it as well. I'm out of eggs and siracha right now tho

Substitute beef seasoning with oriental seasoning, throw in some tofu and sometimes fungus, and you have my usual dinner too. I don't always fry it but I always use half water so that it ends up with no broth.
