I've been having a very similar problem, I knew I'd be a NEET from quite a young age, I won't ever work for someone else unless I have to to survive
However now I'm going to turn 20 soon and the NEET life is almost unbearable
I'm looking for land in the countryside I can buy over the summer, so hopefully developing some kind of dwelling will be a good project for me over the next year or two
I'm lucky enough that I have a bit of an inheritance to be able to make a purchase this big
Basically, the problem you're having is you feel the need to be productive in some way, but haven't been taught how to go about it

Just practice the little things like nodding or smiling at random people walking past if they look your way, small talk with cashiers, you probably won't become Chad tier immediately but I feel that treating the little stuff as goals and tests really helped me with being more comfortable with public speaking
