Hey /r9k/. What are your monthly expenses/bills? I think it'd be fun to see how we budget our lives.

MONTHLY BUDGET: $1440

Rent: $975
Electricity: $50
Internet: $50
Food: $100
Car (insurance, gas): $150
Savings/Entertainment: $115

I hope I get a job really soon :/

Where the fuck do you live in where you pay nearly 1000 bucks on rent alone? And 50 on Internet? Seriously?
>>
>>29789482
Rent 0
Food 0
Internet 0
Savings/entertainment 0

I can never respect you wage slaves. Go to work normalcuck

New Jersey, close to Manhattan. Damn, is it that bad? It's a lot of room and I live alone.
>>
>>29789615
so you have no food, internet, or vidya.

sounds fun.

Hmm I don't really want to make a new thread for this so I'll ask here. I'm starting college in august and just moved here and have no job, im taking 12 credit hours should I wait and see what the workload is like or get a job now(if i even can) I really don't want to work more than 4 hour shifts if the workload is gonna be like I've heard. So what are some good jobs while in college, specific companies, positions? Preferably something above min wage but i'll take what I can get.

>phone bill: $90 (I need to get a new plan)
>entertainment/savings: $1900

Being a wagecuck while also being a manchild who lives at home and doesn't drive has it's benefits.

Waiters tend to never work more than 4-6 hour shifts

You'll make bank at a good restaurant too. At my old place FoH staff pulled like 25k-30k a year when you factor tips in

Monthly budget: $2500

Monthly spending
Rent: $450
Internet: $50
Car: $150
Student loan: $300
Food: $150 (just a guess)
ASMR girl patreon donations: $1400

Can someone good with budgeting help me figure out why I never have money to put in savings at the end of the month?
>>
My mom pays the rent, it's $475.
She also buys the food, but I eat cheap shit.

Electric/Water: $250
Gas: $40
Phone: $10
Cable/Internet: $110
Gasoline: $40 (brother pays for car insurance)

I don't really budget everything else I spend. Most of my expenses are just buying lunch at work because I'm too lazy to make it, but even then, it never goes above $20 a month.

FUCK i am dying laughing
>>
>>29790441
get a bicycle and rig a motor kit up on it

gas is mad cheap for it
>>
>>29789482
Rent: $1200
Elec. + Gas: Mom pays for it
Car (insurance +gas): Mom pays for it
Internet: $50
Entertainment:20-100$
Food: 50 - 200$ depending on how often I feel like cooking

I get a lot of money from financial aid as a 25 year old student.
>>
>>29789482
Monthly: $2400ish. It varies + or - $150.

Rent 900 incl util
Phones and internet 130
Food about 300
Student loan payment 255
Car insurance and gas 120

Whatever is left goes to entertainment and savings. That rent number is exceptionally low for my area btw. It's a lower level suite of a house. If i were to move to a conventional apartment it would be about 1300.
>>
>>29789482
You only spend $100 a month on food? Do you sustain on Ramen and beans or something?
>>
>>29790785

Nah dog, I just eat pussy. :^)
>>
>>29790527
It seems that your chi is off-balance. I would sell the car, halve the food, and halve the internet, and put the extra $250 p/month on the ASMR girl to help you out.
>>
I live with 150 euros my mom sends me about every month, sometimes less.

I return some debts and pay some bills, what I'm left with I spend within a week.

Btw, I live in small town in the middle of nowhere, no jobs or anything. I get a few gigs from time to time and some of my other relatives sometimes give me like 10-20 euros. The only think I have is a part of a house that was given to me by my grandparents when my father died.

>>
>>29790934
Just to add, I get free internet from a friendly neighbor and my mom sends me a laptop or a phone when my old on breaks, as you an imagine its all the cheap stuff. I am pretty much the poorest you can be without being homeless.

It's great, I've never even seen irl the amounts of money you people are talking about, ever.

I make $3600 a month

>pic related is bills

Rest is for food, gas, a few $50 to $100 blowjobs from strippers, and other entertainment.
>>
>rent: 0
>Car payment:$179
>Phone bill:$50 minus data I don't use($20 credit for June so only paid $30)

That's literally it. I save the rest but I only work part time because I hate my job.
>>
>>29791187
are you paying off your credit cards in full?
>>
>>29791187
>>29791282

This, you really need to pay off those fucking credit cards.
>>
>>29790785
I buy cans of beans and pasta in bulk, a half dozen $2 bags of chips, some nice vegetables and decent raw meat for "luxury meals", processed cheese, a couple loaves of cheap bread, and store-brand deli meats. I drink exclusively water from the tap but I have ice cube trays so it's nice and cold. My parents live close by so whenever I visit them they usually give me some kind of casserole and that gives me meals for a good week.
>>
>>29789482
I clear $2,450 a month after taxes and other deductions from my paycheck.

Rent: $350
Utilities: $80 (appoximately, varies from month to month)
Student loans: $260
Car insurance $70

That leaves me with about $1,700 a month to spend on food, gas, and entertainment. I try to save at least $700 a month.
