Anime is the kind of medium that you can only really talk about openly when you aren't into it at all. I used to be able to discuss anime, then I started watching seriously.
500+ series later and nobody can keep up anymore so I just keep watching to fill the void.

Pretty much this, it starts with shows like Haruhi then you find yourself watching Lucky Star. I'm just glad I never got into figs and shit, there are some nice ones but that she is expensive and I am already on autismbux.
Normals only watch generic entry level stuff and/or stuff I watched with /a/ when it aired.
