It does. I was borderline anorexic for a while and stopped growing at 6'2". My younger brother was obese growing up and he hit 6'7".
Also, men in my family have been growing successively taller every generation. Be 6'2", dad, 5'11", grandpa 5'9" etc. No male cousin in my current generation is below 6 foot.
