I am as I describe but I haven't been able to find a woman who wasn't shallow, boring or had some major personality flaws. I am not a perfectionist either, just have a very reduced dating pool and haven't had much luck so I am willing to venture out on the internet. At the same time, I am clueless about social media or dating sites so it seemed fitting to try here first.

I mainly need companionship and the child. I don't have a very high sex drive but the time I was most sexually active, I did it about two to four times a week with my partner. However, this was over 5 years ago and I've been single for the past year without ever resorting to prostitution in my life. As such, I can say with confidence I can live without sex.

I'm not outgoing except for two circles of people I know and there's no women where I work. I'm not sure how else to get to know women IRL and all my current female contacts are married except one but she is a lesbian who had a bicurious phase.

The thing is that most women I met had no structure. They generally had no lifelong goals, dreams or long term plans, let alone commitment to a serious relationship or acting like an adult. I figured by throwing the child commitment into the mix, it would filter all the hookup culture people or something but in retrospect, I suppose something simpler such as stating I am looking for a serious relationship would have sufficed. Thank you for your feedback nonetheless.

Oh, I honestly wasn't sure how long men were for. I think paranoia just kicked in because 90% of the people I work and hang out with are married or have kids already.

I guess it's back to trial and error, though I don't have a smartphone. I suppose I can just conduct some basic research on dating sites and see what I can find, though I am paranoid of the activity known as catfishing.
