>tfw that 30 second intense drive of motivation to turn you life around and fuck shit up
>minute later it's like it never happened
how 2 sustain motivation?
I don't know, but I'll keep your thread bumped.
i would say its due to some sort of chemical imbalance. sounds like it.
Something that helps me is building a small plan. Also focus on working towards your goal everyday even if it's 15 minutes or 60 minutes or longer.
Often once you start being productive it's hard to stop.

motivation / discipline need build-up too. our brain is a muscle! create and continue the habit of continuous action.
>newtons 1st law of motion
even having that 30 sec of motivation is beautiful enough. that means you're headed upwards and onwards. i have no doubt in my mind you'll turn that card face down real soon.
it's not going to be a perfectly upwards linear progression to productivity + normiedom. you gotta expect 9732498234098 squiggles and lots of ebb and flow (wish i had the pic on me). the key is reducing all of the shitty moments and rebuilding, resetting your life anew from scratch.
fight yourself
challenge yourself
fuck old ingrained habits
>neuroplasticity
it's easy to get caught up in apathy and being jaded / sick / existential. focus on what you can do now and push yourself to do so. don't ever stop trying.
>life is about redemption
fuck your idols, role models, and be one yourself
You do it anyway.
If you only do work when you "feel like it", you'll never accomplish anything.
