Eggman is very naive and has some funny ideas about how the world works. He's also made some terrible choices and generally rants about things that he never intends to do in practice, and also about every detail of his personal life. As you can imagine, this kind of candid oversharing is not the best thing to do on 4chan when you're not quite together as a person.
I don't think people here criticize Eggman because they think he's a loser. No, in many ways Eggman is more successful than the average robot since he has a job and a GF. Instead, it's more the bizarre things he says and how he kind of straddles the line between being a typical robot and a sane normalfag. There's a lot of contradictions in how he conducts his life to be perfectly honest.
I think that Eggman in that sense isn't necessarily different from most people in how flawed he is. It's just more the fact that so many people here are more objective than him in how they can analyze his life so its almost like having hundreds of psychologists picking apart every aspect of his being based on the move he makes. I don't think anyone would stand up to that level of scrutiny which is yet another reason why his oversharing on 4chan is so bizarre.
