Do you guys ever dye your hair?
I used to dye mine black, but just stopped after a while.
Natural black hair, if I had dyed it I would need to bleach it first and my hair would have started falling out even sooner than 26
Exactly once in my life I had highlights added to my hair. It was one of those moments where you're so desperate for something in your life to change that you do something stupid to try and achieve it.
Exactly one person commented on it, and with a look of confusion in their face as they did so. I assume everyone else thought I was just an idiot.
I don't get why people would ever want to dye their hair honestly. All natural hair colors look pretty good.

Same reason most people get name changes. They just don't feel their current hair color (or name) fits them well. Either that or they're going through a crisis or traumatic event of sorts and it's the closest you can get to feeling like a different person.

I heard a very credible story about a girl who died her hair pink, and people started treating her differently because they believed her hair was naturally pink, and then her hair actually turned pink!

Back when I was like 17-20 years old I would dye my hair all sorts of cRrrAaaAzY colors. Blue, green, purple, pink, red, orange, etc.
