Declaring War on Nostalgia is a good one too

I feel like depressing music is pointless because most of the artists behind them are normie motherfuckers.

No need to shitpost, I mean like most of these songs were probably made by normal people who became depressd because of cliche shit like "muh drugz" or "muh gf left me" or "muh family member/friend died" etc. They probably all had regular lives with lots of friends and family members, as well as being social enough to put themselves out to the public
They didn't intend these songs for true robots. Just normies going through a tough time.
>>29778079
Yeah because to be considered your special breed of different you gotta sit in you room all day and do absolutely nothing productive with your life. A normie to you is anyone who isnt the faggot you are. As if you're the only one who exists in this world and has thoughts and feelings (which are petty and pathetic compared to the hardships of others let me remind you.)
>projecting this hard
>getting this mad
You don't have to be a shut in to be a robot, just either awkward, ugly, or autistic. You're thinking of NEETs.
Also I didn't mean anything about special breeds or secret clubs or anything. My point is most of the people in this thread probably are robot types that identify with these songs which is kinda silly because the people behind these songs 99% chance had a much better life than them, filled with lots of friends, opportunities (otherwise they would've never had the song published), etc.

This is music I wrote for a sad scene in a story I am writing where one of the main characters dies fighting to save her kids. This music gives me feels, makes me almost regret killing her off, as well as some of the other characters who could have actually lived on. But war is hell and everyone who fights dies eventually. I guess it won't have any effect on you guys but maybe you will like it. It is inspired by BvDub's the art of dying alone as well as ANO remix of Kaskade Turn It Down which I listened to on the train ride the morning after she "died."

I guess it isn't actually *that* sad, but it always makes me sad when I listen to it.

This is the song I was talking about. I just imagined the guy in the pic I posted riding back home, mourning the death of a woman who was like a daughter to him, watching a bleak gray sky. Lots of feels that are obscure and hard to describe. It's beyond tfw no gf, it was like this deeper sadness that only music like this and an industrial landscape that reminds me of a painting can really bring into being. Some of these characters have been with me for years and when they die it hurts, especially when the bad-ass-ness of their deaths wear off.

See songs like this one give me that same ethereal feeling of deep dread sometimes. I dunno what it is exactly about them. I wish I did so that I could write some more of it. Anyway good music guys, I don't like the rap / indie stuff quite as much but I try to listen to every song in the thread at least a little bit, r9k is my main source of feels music and it's where most of my folder is from.
