Pretty sure I have PTSD or something since I was in a bad accident as a kid. My heart literally doesn't stop racing as long as the vehicle is in motion. I scan every area of the road constantly, check all my mirrors every second, and having to blink stresses me out. It feels like I'm in a permanent fight or flight response.
I'm always completely covered in sweat when I finally park and get out.

Just ask people around if you can borrow a bike and pay them back in a few months when you have the money. People usually know someone with a spare bike. Even if it's a piece of shit it's better than walking.

I got my licence at 17, you're not allowed to drive on your own until you're 18 where you're from. So I drove around with my dad who shouted at me for the most stupid bullshit so I said fuck it I'm not gonna drive a car until I can do so on my own. I literally had nightmares about driving for a whole year until I turned 18 and bought my own car. The first time i sat in the driver's seat alone I was like bathed in sweat and had fuckin tunnel vision. but it worked out and now I can drive without a problem even in cities. Still don't enjoy it but public transport is a mess here
