I got the 3DS version out of nostalgia, but there were so many minor changes they made that pissed me off. I don't even remember them all since the game came out a year ago, but they were significant enough to piss off a nostalgiafag like me.

I don't know why you're being so mean. I also picked up Hexcells Plus and Hexcells Infinite. I've beaten Hexcells and that was really comfy too.

The online scene is pretty dead but in the golden years it was the most fun I've ever had in a video game and the community was pretty comfy, if a bit autistic and heavy on the bantz.

I couldn't get into Persona 3, but I do agree it's top tier comfy art and music. I'm more of a Persona 4 fan, but Persona 3 did have this sense of comfy that Persona 4 didn't. Though I do think Persona 4 was comfy in it's own way, but both games were unique.
Dungeon of the Endless is a great game and pretty comfy.

I tried ffxiv and like you I got bored of it fairly quickly, the game looks pretty and the combat is decent but it's nothing like WoW. People say it's the replacement to WoW but I don't think anything will ever replace WoW, will never have an MMORPG like WoW again. Of course lots of people will be "coming back" to people Legion, they always say "Man, the new expansion looks like shit, I'm not going to buy it" but they always buy it and end up playing it for a little bit and then saying "I played Legion and it was shit, WoW is ruined."
Rinse and repeat, it's like COD players. They claim COD is shit and every new COD game looks like crap but they'll still go out, buy the game and play it.

It's always worked on win7 for me but some people had to use some workarounds to get it to work. Also, to get a playable resolution you had to use a third party program to make the window a reasonable size.
I actually haven't played it in about 6 months (the longest I've ever not played at least a SP playthrough) but apparently they released a patch recently which makes it more compatible with modern operating systems.

Apparently, the endgame PvE in ffxiv is VERY good. People praise how hard it is and how long it takes them to clear the content. I just couldn't handle the levelling. Not interested in 'grind away for weeks and you might have fun eventually' games any more.
I quit WoW years ago and never looked back.
Vanilla through WotLK was incredible. The only way an MMORPG is worth my time (now that I'm not NEET and looking for stuff to fill the hours in each day) is if it's REALLY fucking good.
Wish I could rediscover Ocarina of Time for the first time again...
New Leaf killed the artstyle. Everything has this shiny plastic look and the log effect is stupid.

Rented this from the video store for PS2, played it on my uncle's. Then I bought it at EB Games for GameCube, and it got all scratched. Two years or so ago, my uncle got it for me off eBay, and now I play it every summer.
