As a personal thing I don't like investing in stocks. Real estate is one of the only assets that I would invest in. Having a paid off mortgage when you are young will save you a ton of money.
You could also invest in establishing your own business after working for some time, or after you have a marketable idea with a sound business plan.

My family's company (which I work in) doesn't even make that much money. If we spent it like every stupid person who makes above minimum wage we'd be living in a shitty house in a shitty neighborhood eating shitty food (but while we spend it on stupid shit we dont need)
Instead we spend very little on unimportant things, live in a pretty nice house, occasionally eat at Michelin-starred restaurants, and take a trip somewhere really nice once or twice a year.

Make investments that aren't mainstream. If you're smart about it you can easily achieve returns of %80+ a year. Take profits often.
If any of you are serious, sign up for a brokerage and paper trade for a year. If you're profitable by the end of that year, invest real money.
It's not easy, but it is certainly worth the effort to learn how to properly trade the markets. Also in this day and age they're basically nothing more than a casino.
Hint: Buy gold, $1200 is/was a good price. It'll be going much higher as soon as the dollar loses its position as world reserve currency, probably next 2-4 years. Gold is the easiest thing to play long currently.

Jobs that get you a good amount of money are doctors (includes surgeons, dentists, etc.), good businessmen, banksters, lawyers, good engineers (of any kind), entertainers (actors, musicians, etc.)
If you're asking how to get rich, you're probably not rich. So becoming a doctor or a lawyer is going to be nearly impossible for you, those are very prestigious professions.
Engineering/STEM is normally considered to be the ladder for poor people to rise in their social status.
