I remember Pokemon Gold and Silver, then Pokemon Rubis and Sapphire. Shit. It was getting better every year, Pokemons were actually likeable. Then they they turned into childish-looking ones and the whole game became some fucking multicultural propaganda tool asking gamers if they want the protagonist to have black skin.
The early 2000s were also nice because Bleach didn't get into the retarded Arrancar arc yet. We got to read a story with an actual plot. A fucking tragic plot about Ichigo feeling powerless and training with Urahara to gain more powers. His fights against Renji and Zaraki were so fucking cool. Then he showed up in color pages with his BANKAI!!! His hollow transformation was also fucking great, I loved it when Byakuya got rekt. Aizen was even cooler though with his kidou attacks, no one could fucking beat him, I was in awe.

Some early-mid-late 2000s bands were and are pretty great. I still listen to their music and haven't found anything in this decade that's better. I'm always open to new music and there has been some good stuff in this decade, but nothing that has really taken me.
I prefer the mid-to-late 2000s as it was more fun for me, and I remember being quite happy in that period. Only wish I spent that time more wisely.
