Failing at normal life, instead of aiming for lower goals I yearn for something higher, even though it's impossible.
>tfw you were born to early to join an interplanetary outlaw crew of scavengers/smugglers, narrowly avoiding the Sol System Federation and being permanently in debt to a powerful crime boss living on Saturn's moon Titan.

Religion is cancer of the mind, we should end it asap - that doesn't necessarily means violence, educating it away is also an option. Anyway, it would be possible to do it in just one generation.
>>29718855
>You will never live a quiet life after the happening happened, working your few acres of land with your oneitits who became your gf when you saved her
Pic related
>>29721087
Religion isn't that harmful lmao. It had a very important function in the near past and I think we'll naturally evolve out of it within the century. No need to go on a crusade against it.
>>29721087
>Islam is a cancer of the mind
FTFY. Most religions are good for for civilization by giving people a moral code and sense of purpose.
People do better, generally speaking, when they have a virtuous myth to believe in.
>ywn be a 6'8 bearmode living in the middle age
>ywn make a living out of pillaging villages with your band
>>29721166
Sadly, I don't think we evolve out of it. Humans are prone to superstition and there is many people spreading their myths as truth. We can only fight it either by violence or education (better way).
>>29721236
You can have a moral code and purpose without religion. Religions only hijacked the concepts. If given free reign, other religions would end up as violent as islam (and they do cause a lot of harm in the 3rd world countries still, you only don't hear the news), there is nothing inherently better about them. Why to have a virtuous myth to believe in when there are many actual real virtuous people around. Don't fool yourself into believing religion is good for humanity. You can take a look at for example the creation museum's FB page and you'll see what retardation does it breed. And those aren't really stupid people, those are just your everyday normal people who happen to take their religion more seriously than others.
