>playing pic related
>go into an ultra competitive state of mind
>get irrationally angry at the other team for scoring
>want to win at all costs
>playing an online first person shooter
>don't really care if my team loses or wins
>just want that xp
What gives?
You're feeling what normies feel when watching/playing real sports. The shooter is an abstraction and made up conflict thus less personal.

The exact opposite goes for me.

>shooting games are an abstraction
>different from other games because you shoot people
>not different because of team/scoring mechanics at all
lol
also yeh op rocket league is intense, it's soccer for nerds, the only way they could get us to play with balls like normans do
Rocket League has such a good community. It must have to do with the quick messages; when you get in a good server everyone will compliment eachother and have a great time. It's weird to see being used to every other multiplayer I've played
Also fps's have teams but are more about individual success unless you're playing with friends or in a clan match.
