The people that freak out like this are probably the needy/annoying type that relies on other people to make things happen.

Also what is with the personality type where they just constantly make jokes, and if they say something funny they can't help themselves and just try to chain jokes and end up making themselves look like dumbasses.
>>
>>29690314
This is Op, he's really depressed, he has clinical depression.
>>29690298
>He punched his tv, bloodyied his hands, started rambling about society had abandoned him

This OP.
Why would you think we wouldn't want screencaps?
>>
>>29690373
At the very least could you paraphrase what he was saying?

>>29690438
>>29690272

Everybody knows that one of you guys will try and find the guy and OP by extension and troll them. OP knows this hence the hesitation.

Ouch... even in my worst state, I usually keep it under the wraps (even though on the inside I want to act out and be as dramatic as all fuck).
>>
>>29690496
Good job, never ever let people know how retarded you are.

My brother did something similar like OP's friend and all his friends pretty much cut off contact to avoid drama. You don't want to be known as that annoying guy who burdens everyone when they talk to them.

It's for reasons like these I'm afraid to talk to most people about my shit. Or talk to people in general. It's also why I spend most of my nights at home -- alone. The only place where you can be a sappy shit and not involve anyone else.

some tv's have thin galls over them. more so with older flatscreens. so it's possible that someone could cause the much damae with a punch..not to mention there's metal behind that screen, he could have very easily broke his hand.

Ionno. I've punched my monitor (also LCD) a number of times over the years and it still survived.

As a male, our burdening society expects you to hide your feelings. I too have struggled with social isolation as a result of general indifference to people and my own odd introverted (INFP) ways. I think I am mentally ill. It may run in my family. Anyways, I recall a few times I posted statuses on FB calling out for attention because of these feelings. It never helped at all to do this because I can recall a girl who would peek at my Facebook to gauge my personality and we used to talk in person. She mentioned seeing my Facebook even though we weren't friends. She eventually wanted to stop talking to me and tried to avoid me. I figured it was because of my Facebook posts. As a male, when you have problems, you have to channel that into working out, running, sports. Typical manly shit. Don't turn to social garbage media to complain, because people will never get it.
>>
>>29690750
Daily reminder that you never really experienced true solitude and people are always there to respond to you because of the internet.

Socialization is HUGE for biological organsims because it bypasses personal progression and allows you to function off of others successes and build upon it.

If you were completely exiled from other people you would become retarded.
>>
One of my friends was on some psychedelic and poured his feelings out in a facebook status a couple days

his gf broke up with him yesterday
>>
>>29690889
>Daily reminder that you never really experienced true solitude and people are always there to respond to you because of the internet.

true, im speaking more to the meme solitude "no gf, no friends" etc which many people experience rather than the legit isolated in the woods kinda thing.
>>
>>29690314
This is literally me in a nutshell. And it even makes me cringe. I get drunk all the time and have to lock my phone away somewhere or else I'll jump on FB and dump memes or go on a turboautist rant.

>got drunk one night
>posted angry tirade about women being scum
>EVERYONE REPLIES TO IT
>only notice in the morning when I'm sober
>ohshit.jpg
>family distances themselves from me by 5% more.

I've pretty much accepted my fate and am now working toward getting 100% disowned so I can finally be alone. No one should have to deal with my social retardation.
>>
The internet is the perfect emotional honeypot. You can release your deepest emotions that you clearly fucking wouldn't in person because there's no nonverbal cues to tell you you can't. The feeling of gratification and complete power you have is great until you get away from your screen and see the person/people who've seen your shit in real life and realize you were misled into thinking that there was nothing wrong in posting your most private thoughts and feelings online when, psychologically, it seemed you WERE alone --- everyone and everything else a fragment of your solipsistic self, incapable of hurting you.

People nowadays are neither more nor less histrionic and overly emotional than they have been throughout history. The only difference is they used to keep that shit under wraps. Now, with the internet and social media, we have something the human being was never psychosocially adapted to and which can potentially totally fuck our shit up relationship-wise.
>>

>>
>>29691009
>The only difference is they used to keep that shit under wraps.
Nah, you're just glamorizing the past. There's a story in the Bible of all places about some guy going crazy and cutting himself in a graveyard because he had nobody to talk to.
>>
>>29691601
I see your point, man, but he did that in a graveyard, not in social media where tons of people or at the very least close friends and family can see. Isn't that the scene mentioned in The Catcher in the Rye, by the way?
>>
>>29691009

This is why I don't use social media.
>>
>>29691631
Well he was in a graveyard because everyone thought he was possessed, everyone knew. It's not like he was hiding it.

I don't follow any religion, I mostly started reading it just to at least know what it said. But it's kind of interesting if you see past the metaphors and think about people cutting themselves today.

Most people just need someone to talk to. /r9k/ is good for this because you can let everything go without it following you around as long as you remain anonymous and don't do anything illegal.

hmm
>>
>>29691865
People really take for granted how easy it is to talk to a person online. People become entitled and feel like just because they exist that they should have someone to always talk to in person and always have close friends to talk to on a whim.
>>
>>29691865
>is on 4chan

None of us are completely isolated.
>>
>>29691953
>None of us are completely isolated
Speak for yourself. It took me weeks to be able to just talk to people online again.
>>
>>29691953
Yeah, I don't have a facebook, if I need to say something, I say it here. All my extreme views are considered normal here, which is nice. And I'm anonymous, so I don't have to be embarrassed anyway. SOMETIMES I GET SO ANXIOUS I WANT TO ATTACK THE PEOPLE AT WORK WITH MY FISTS. And now I disappear into the night.
>>
>>29692079
You just responded to me. You socialised.
>>
>>29690889
>Socialization is HUGE for biological organsims because it bypasses personal progression and allows you to function off of others successes and build upon it
That sounds like lonely neckbeard trying to feel superior to normies science. I'm sure socialisation would have more to do with cooperation in a wild and unfriendly world.
>>
>>29692171
I think you misunderstood what he said. You don't have to progress as far as you would alone because you can rely on others. You don't need to be able to fish, cook, hunt, gather, fight, build and treat wounds if you're around others that can, just have one of those skills. I just used basic tribal examples because they're most obvious.
>>
>>29692171
You basically said "socialization has more to do with socialization in a wild and unfriendly world"

If you communicate, you are socializing. Animals learn shit by being tought by older generations and parents. If you set out a human without any interaction with any other humans it wouldn't be smarter at problem solving than a crow that was socializing it's entire life.

You get smarter by interchanging and learning information other humans set before you.
