If you can find something to occupy yourself then you'll go a while without masturbating without even noticing, but if you're seeking out something to occupy yourself, you won't really engage yourself because you'll know you're just avoiding masturbation. So don't bother, and if something comes naturally that stops you from masturbating, you should have an easier time keeping it up once you're done with that thing.

Are you just quitting porn, or masturbation altogether? Quitting just porn is easy; switch to erotic fiction for awhile if you need to, but after awhile you should be able to get off on your imagination alone.
Quitting masturbation completely isn't worth it. If your dick is getting sore then obviously you want to slow down, but the psychological benefits are a meme.

Ask yourself if you are really dependent on porn or do you do it "because you can"? If it is the latter, than just remove the means, ie internet. Get computer somewhere more public. You'll be busy with other things and you won't even realize that you've not watched porn for days.
If you are really "addicted", then just find an alternative way to spend your sex drive...masturbate when you can without porn or yeah, get a girlfriend (sorry, that's the hard part)...the more you think about her the less you will about porn (love interests are most effective against porn, my personal experience)
