To be clear, I've been a guy in several of these types of dynamics. It's almost unavoidable to find women angling for this sort of thing. I can effortlessly make them laugh so they end up with a fairly low-maintenance "friendzone" with me. I'm ok with it but I always check whether my time and effort is really being taken advantage of.
