I can't really bring myself to delete the folder, though that person did block me out of every feasible form of contact. My girlfriend has an history of being stalked. Since you're talking about this as if it were something short of a thing you can go about pretty easily I thought I'd tell you the details about what goes on on the victim end of it.

Shit got serious when, following the breakup, that guy kept tabs on her, he'd follow her around, watching her closely as she went about her business. Moreover he would send obscene videos to her phone and give her phone number to strangers for them to send in sex requests and all that shit. My girlfriend became unable to step out of her house, she dropped out of university and stopped hanging out with friends. I met her on Facebook and since then I've been trying to get her back to normal. You fuckers don't even know how hard it is for someone to go through this. I used to stalk the Tumblr of what I guess you could call a colleague of mine. Learned all about her, what she liked, and what she especially hated. She reblogged wonderful art, but on the other hand she reblogged BLM shit and Kangz posts. But, she is a generally cool person overall. When I was in 5th grade i had a huge crush on one of the teachers and whenever he had playground duty I would follow him around behind his back and "stalk" him. He'd get really annoyed at me and threatened me with detentions. Lasted until 7th grade when he changed schools to teach, when he came back because he had a meeting with some teacher I handmade a doll for him, the doll being him in a llama suit and a Walmart cap (inside joke). I seriously had a huge crush on him, like I'd read student x teacher mangas and fantasise. He was a 25 year old beta now that I think back.

I have none of those, but that doesn't mean you can't creep on others who have. For twitter, go to twitter.com/search and look for tweets that mention your town/university etc. Same for instagram (https://www.instagram.com/explore/yourtownname, then see if someone there posted a geotagged photo, leading to a link of the form https://www.instagram.com/explore/locations/yourlocationid). Once you have found a specific account, there is a chance you can find their other online presences, e.g. if they used the same username on reddit, or if they linked their instagram on their tumblr etc.

i google-stalk some guy who taught classes i was in 1-2.5 years back. i found his twitch account, but he stopped streaming after like 2 months, and i felt kind of responsible, i probably should've never followed/talked in chat. i might not have even been the reason, he might have just gotten bored or busy or something, but i still kick myself over it. i didn't even download any of the vods, i'm such a dumbass. i just felt too "creepy" at the time, but now i just miss his voice so much. he used to have a couple rarely used blogs, but he deleted them, and i never saved them.
if i must be a shitty autistic stalker like this, i wish i could at least be decent at it. he seems to be becoming a much more private person so i doubt i'll get much more online stuff. i don't plan on ever going irl because that is just way beyond me, but still. i miss him.
i've been using him as my go-to "imaginary boyfriend" for like 2.5 years now, and thats probably making it much much worse. i wish i could just move on, this is really pathetic, but he's basically the only person i love at this point, and he barely even knows i exist, and if he remembers me at all its probably just with disgust.
weirdly this is not something that could ever happen with a celebrity/fictional character or anything, this is only something i can feel if i've met someone in person. maybe if i isolate for long enough it will go away.
