Is anybody else here really gullible?
I honestly can't tell when I'm being lied to or someone is being sarcastic. I trust people way too easily and am easily deceived.
It has nothing to do with living a sheltered life either since I've been living independently for a decade and generally have much more life experience than the average robot. Have been homeless and lived different countries etc...
I have a really jaded outlook of people and am really distrustful yet I am still can't sense people's malicious intentions.

Yeah, sort of. I have trouble sensing the intentions of people also. I don't have as much experience as you do desu, so maybe it'll get better.
I wouldn't call myself gullible. If anything I'm a bit paranoid. But it doesn't even really help; people can lie to me easily and I can't always just distrust everyone...
Sometimes people are just messing with me a little bit and I get their "WTH, he fell for it?" reaction afterward. It truly sucks.
It's cause you guys are autistic

it's autism and i don't know that there is really much you can do about it.
you can try posting on autism sites for advice (this one doesn't count, go to a real one where people aren't insane).
one thing you can try is not trusting anything anyone says but i don't know if it helps that much if you just can't sense when people are being dishonest.
Yes, everybody would say this about me at my last workplace and it really bothered me. I never knew I was gullible before then, but apparently I am. I definitely think it's because of my self-suspected aspergers.
Not a whole lot I can do about it. As long as you're not gullible enough to get seriously fucked over then its not really a big deal.
