As the same guy that wrote the snow stories, I've felt much more calmer in recent years by simply being more humorous. A couple of days ago I DID lose my temper and smash a guy in the stomach a couple of times but as I was doing so I quickly prevented myself from going any further.
The adrenalin rush will make it difficult but in the end, it's better to not even get mad in the first place, take everything with a side of humour.
I have got really mad in dreams though, and although that isn't exactly real life, it still gives me an understanding on completely losing control. If you are really had then treatment should be sought but if you're redeemable then follow my advice. My faith also helps as well, always something to help control yourself.
