New York City is fucking old as dog shit, especially the houses unless you live in a super modern built apartment building.
Nothing here is built with the idea of ventilation, so everyone owns a box window air conditioner, problem is, like everything here, electric bills are expensive so it fucking sucks that you have to live with your windows open round clock to "air condition" your house.
I was passed over for an award after three years of work. They gave it to some guy who barely showed up.
I've been writing an email to the committee for the past two hours, but I keep deleting it because it sounds like im just mad.

I sleep sporadically throughout the day but I'm usually disrupted by my disabled mother who needs help throughout the day. When I do sleep for longer than a few hours I wake up in the midst of an anxiety attack. It will be better when I get back to university
