I've been there still working on staying off it like I will be forever, try drinking coffee seems like a decent distraction. Every time you wanna go blow more cash on booze just try to do something else. Like any addiction it's not the drink you're addicted to it's your situation that pushes you towards it, find something to work towards like exercising to get in shape or any other activity you like.
