It is a dumb idea, especially if that drug is one of the most commonly abused prescription meds there is. You're already on Zoloft, so you have a good backstory, just make something up about feeling sudden pangs of anxiety and getting sweaty and shit. You might not get Xanax but you'll probably end up with some benzo.

Play the long con, it might take you a day or a year to get a benzo but he will cave eventually. I got all kinds of meds this way.

i think i should switch to benadryl or something to knock me out, though. i don't want to fuck with my tolerance and not feel as intense a calm when i start taking benzos normally again, or even worse, go through withdrawals.

Oxy and hyrdro top comfy drugs, never tried any benzos though. The only downside is having to take month long breaks in between purchases but fuck I don't want to get addicted to this stuff.

but man that honeymoon period was the fucking bomb. those first few nods off percocet or vicodin were top notch. I know exactly where you're at man. I would say quit while you're ahead, but no one actually takes that advice.
benzos are nothing like opiates. from what I've seen it's a love/hate sort of thing. people tend to not realize that a whole bar of xanax is enough for a low-tolerance person to black out, so many people write them off as shit-tier drugs. but they're actually pretty great if you use them correctly and dose right. also benzos + weed is maximum comfy
