I met some guy in DayZ once. I had wasted all my bullets on goats, so I didn't kill him. We went on an adventure with some guy and his "rape van" afterwards and got mauled by zombies. I added him on steam and he's been one of the few people I can openly talk about my feelings with. He's sort of a robot as well.
I have something like a group and we spent most of the day together, some even talk while at work. They are the only thing I look forward to everyday and I won't get judged for staying at home all day long either.
I used to have internet friends but the guilt of making them have to be friends with someone as shitty of a person as I am got to me and I forced myself to leave. Now I'm back to being stuck in a constant state of wanting friends but not wanting friends at the same time.
I want internet friends but I don't know how.

I'm a man and she's an attractive woman, it definitely could be a part of why I'm interested.
HOWEVER, I've been in one serious failed disaster of a romance that left me in pieces for about 4 years and I'm very cautious of women.
I've some interests that nobody else has and she has them as well. We're very similar people and that's the real reason I talk to her everyday, I actually have something to say and someone who's likely to appreciate it.
I've thought about it a lot and I'd really be fine if we never met but just kept up this nice correspondence, it's cozy; not to mention she lives far away and I have an education to finish (as she does).

I've got a few I'd consider "friends."
I barely remember how we met, I think it was a couple of years back during matches of different video games.
It feels nice to have someone to talk to. Best part is that it's easier to find one than you think. Just try to be their friend, instead of making them your friend.
I started talking to a guy on a robot pen pals thread about a year ago. We write eachother big long emails about once a week or so.
It's pretty cool, it started out with the basic getting to know you stuff, but over time it's about 50% blogpost, 50% asking and answering deep questions which make you think.
A+ would recommend, at the very least it kills and hour once a week, at best you find yourself going out and doing things you wouldnt ordinarily do so you have something to write about, and end up with a pal on the other side of the world.
Sharing music is pretty important.
Try asking really open ended questions like

That keeps things very interesting, assuming you've got an interesting person, and stops it turning into

Met them all on various forums, want to know people? Go to a popular forum, get to know people in discord rooms, etc. Ask them about other forums and start building your collection.
It's a great way to build social skills.

She's pretty dang cool. We sometimes watch anime together and occasionally browse 4chan together on rabbit.
Besides that we always send each other different thread links, play games together when I can (She's NEET while I'm in school), argue a lot (but we usually forgive and forget within a day),send each porn/hentai we think is goodand talk about people we have crushes on

I met a couple of decent people that I would always play games with made things a bit easier whenever I didn't wanna play by myself when I was NEET now I stopped playing games cause of college but I still talk to them. Internet friends a bretty good and it's not hard to make them. Just ask for their skype. Most people never say no.
If anyone plays League,Runescape, or has a fucking steam account I'd be down to add anyone.
