So I have a theory about betas vs robots. You may be thinking

Not exactly.
I feel that the main difference between betas and robots is self awareness.
A beta just assumes the world is the way it is and he's just unlucky. A robot on the other hand KNOWS why he is undesirable to females. A robot knows how to change himself but won't do it for any reason. A beta tries so hard to be a Normie but can't. A robot is able to acknowledge he's not a Normie and continue his day.

I've tried really hard to be a normie and couldn't manage to do it, and this is what taught me why I'm unacceptable to women and normies.

I know where you're coming from, but the word "beta" just means too many things nowadays. Every damn body just uses it in their own little way. But I get what you're saying. I have this friend who's completely un-self aware and he's somehow more of a normie than me because he just doesn't have these inner limitations that I have. It's also why bronies think they're above everybody when actually they're shit socially. We have been cursed with standing outside looking in and being well aware of our flaws.

I always had the interpretation that a beta was a kind person who was good and nice to people, and a robot was someone who on a conventionally superficial level has just as much to offer as a beta but is an asshole to everyone about it, blames them, and is more likely to shoot up a school because of his anger.

You are on the right track. I think of it like betas wouldn't do the alpha option even if they knew what it was because they get into the "nice guy" mindset and do not want to lose the one virtue that they have. Robots are probably the same way in some sense, but not to the same extent. When I see an opportunity to be "alpha" I take it. I am just terrible at spotting the opportunities as I assume most of us are. When I have no focus on social interaction and just kind of coast through it, I default to beta because it is a lot easier and requires no effort.
