I really wish I could have a cat, but I'm really allergic to them. I always grew up seeing kids cuddle with their kittens and I knew it was yet another companionship I would never feel.

Dogs are awesome. I've never had a cat but I've found all the cats I've interacted with unappealing. The world is too selfish and uncaring as it is, I don't want a duplicitous pet on top of that. That said, I can barely take care of myself so I could never keep any pet. Hell, even if I had any plants they'd probably wither within weeks.
