I really wish things had all gone differently. I wish I were a different person, yet paradoxically still be me.
I'm not really sure where it all went wrong, though. My environment wasn't as dysfunctional as some f the rest of you here. Maybe that's proof it's just genetics.
It's not JUST genetics but genetics do play a role in your personality.
The other side of the coin is made up of environmental factors.
Craziest, dumbest thing anyone ever told me is, "No, it's not just genetics and environment. It's also epigenetics!"
He wasn't joking. He really thought that the affect of environmental factors on gene expression somehow was outside the bounds of "genetics and environment".
I couldn't believe it.
