Can you be an introvert and socialize all the time on a chinese farming board?
>>
>>29628227
this is actually a very good question.
>>
>>29628227
Yes. The difference between extrovert and introvert is that introvert get's exhausted by social setting much faster.
>>
Are there people so introverted that they cannot shitpost here?
>>
introverts avoid people

the type of interaction we get in here is only with ideas
>>
>>29628227
I think I'm a true "introvert". I'm not nervous or shy about talking to people at all and don't really mind it. I've had good conversations with people who talk to me, I just would rather not talk to people, but again, I'm fine with talking.

Ugh, the redundancy in this post. My bad, anons. I need sleep.
>>

>tfw I can't keep up a 4 minutes convo irl while I am very social online
At this point I have more friends online than Irl
What is wrong with me?
>>
If I had to attach my face to every 4chan post I wouldn't come here
>>
>>29628258

isn't this board a social setting as well?
>>
>>29628287
then they must be quite stupid because a lot of it is shitposting
>>
>>29628266
me
I want to chat about something interesting and not-normie
>>
>>29628312
You're anxious person, having online friends requires much less effort.
>>
>make post
>become so sickened with anxiety you cannot bare to wait for replies, if any
>close tab and never look at that thread again

Who else does this?
>>
>>29628258
That's a common misconception. An introvert is just someone who socialises significantly less than an extrovert. It just happens for a variety of reasons depending on the introvert in question: easy exhaustion around people and the outside, or shyness, or indifference, or bad experiences with socialising that stops them, etc. Whatever the reason is, it leads them seek others much less than, well, other people.
>>
>>29628590
Are you doing it right now?
>>
>>29628487
Yes but most of the time your just observing which for a lot of people isn't tiring at all. You can pick exactly what you want to read and you can stop reading at anytime. It's complete different really

Lel

I left my house socially for the first time since August last weekend to a heavy metal kek night at the uni bar near my house is was pretty good though cos I sat in an armchair and watched robocop/burnt face man on the silent TV screens while drinking then spoke to a few people I know whilst going out for a cig
>>
>>29628645
Was it fun? I can be happy with walking with friend doing literally nothing
>>
>>29628645
Yeah it was alright for me mainly the sitting down in silence

I've found in the past that if you go out on your own to a place where you don't know anyone it opens up this space of freedom where you aren't w/ your friends so you're not socially obliged or expected to act in a certain way so you can try to make conversation w/ randoms or just sit in silence observing people should you choose to do so, it's nice
>>
Yes, spending time online is an introverted hobby. Real extroverts would get bored real quickly because they rely on shit like body language and such.

>>29628266
Sometimes I type up a long post only to delete it, sometimes I just have nothing to add and lurk. I bet there are people who come here all the time and never post.
>>
>>29628848
That's a shame, you should've posted it. I ALWAYS post. ALWAYS. Even if I have nothing to add. You must have read thousands of my posts already.
>>
>>29628871
I go off (You)'s, sometimes I have several threads open which I have replied only to come back much later without a single response. Feels pretty sad.
>>
>>29628871
>>29628893
Honestly i can't shitpost without adding anything valuable to thread, I feel bad and I don't enjoy "conversation"
i have days when i post post post then day when i can't even find interesting thing
Am i really outcast when I can't post online?
>>
>>29628911
Well for me I go through periods, I normally smoke a lot but I haven't been lately and everything just feels really bland and boring.
>>
>>29628911
beats me
good post
>>
>>29628227
This is a pretty low grade of socialization. Not exactly demanding.
