I'm a Master-level chess player. Chess is not as hard as games like Go or even Starcraft. The "skill ceiling" in chess is mostly just intuition, it's not remotely the same as a video game. Who can make the best guesses inside of a six hour game?

Overall probably Starcraft 2. MAYBE Quake 3 CPMA, but that's pretty much dead and Quake Live dumbed down Quake a bit so the series isn't a serious contender for hardest e-sport anymore.
