By all accounts I'm a normfag, married to a lovely woman, working a decent job, able to look people in the eye and fake being human. But at the core of my personality and behavior is ridiculous addiction. I obsessively play a free roguelike, Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup, and have done so at least 3-4 hours a day for the last 6 or so years. Weeks can go by where I'm not fucking or even really touching my wife because I'm too preoccupied with roguelikes, porn, and an immensely stupid BDSM MUSH. I hate myself. I think about suicide frequently and the greatest shame of that, besides my cowardice, is the fact I haven't invested in life insurance to take care of my wife when I finally get the balls to shuffle off this mortal coil. Have at me, robots. I have what you want, and I'm squandering it for transient Internet pleasures.

Two of my coworkers ask me what I'm going to do when I get home & are taken off guard by my "I'm probably gonna go on the swings." Is it really that weird? It's better than "I'm gonna watch season 2 of Corpse Princess" or "I'm gonna read Gakkou Gurashi while listening to nu metal".
My advice? Wean yourself off the game OP. It's the most efficient way to get back on track & give your wife the attention & love she deserves. Don't off yourself yet, you can still be salvaged.
