How is robot depression different from normie depression?

Normie's get over their depression because they can change their life and make it better.
Robots can't change the reason for their did depression.

you try to explain your feelings to someone and they'll think you're just fucking autistic

Why can't they? It's not like you guys are magically cursed.
Normies tend to be relatively active and live productive lives despite their mental health issues.

Normies have a supportive social circle which is very important if a person wishes to overcome depression

For normies depression is a phase, usually means "I'm sad", and is a result of some minor event ("stacy broke up with me ;_;")
For robots, depression is a state of being, starting early in life and never ending, possibly getting worse as time goes on. Either it's chemical in nature (physically can't feel happiness) or is the logical result of being dealt a shit hand (other mental illness, physical deformity, crippled, diseased, etc.)

Robot depression is different because robot depression never goes away.
