That's beyond chilly. That's the stuff of nightmares. Seriously. Imagine being literally dropped in the middle of the Atlantic...AT NIGHT...knowing that you are thousands of miles away from land and that there are sharks around and that you will literally die.

I wonder what it would feel like for half of your nerves to send your brain cold signals and the other half to send hot signals, randomly

Imagine you had a flap of skin that was connected to your nervous system. It was flat and stratched accross the entire world. At the same time everybody pured ice cold water on it.

What would that feel like
>>
>>29605558
in that situation i would just cut off my oxygen and take a quick death before the isolation got to me 2bh

Being in a space suit drifting away from earth. It gets colder and darker. Everything you know and love is slowly drifting away.

That's actually a nice thought. You also have a chance at reviving thanks to an alien civilization picking up your corpse.

I dont have an ocean fear but that game scares the shit out of me.

The lack of music parricularly sets up the atmosphere that gets me. Its quiet, Im swimming around breaking rock deposits then suddenly I get attacked. Gets me every damn time.

Getting lost in the Paris Catacombs and then having your flashlight start to die. I really can't think of anything more terrifying.

Imagine hearing things down there. It'd be even more terrifying.

>>

That would be a wet dream for the vorarephiliacs, however. I stand by my statement of being shredded to smithereens by the violent and infnite forces of a gas giant like TrES-4b. Imagine hearing a low, ear-piercingly loud whipping and gushing sound as your sent careening into the horribly destructive and eternal storms forever festering on it's seemingly-innocent, white, and swirly surface, knowing that not a shred of evidence you were ever killed would remain in this universe, and that whatever piece of you left would be absorbed into the gaseous depths of that wretched, prodigious celestial behemoth.

Really? Mind relaying them to me? Personally, I thought that being slammed into the forever-churning and vicious surface of a murderviolence-incarnate astronomical orb would be the ultimatum of horrific and deeply-chilling deaths.
>>
>>29606118
God damn, that looks absolutely horrific. Did her corpse somehow liquify? Or is that the sludgy and rotten remains of her blood? Jesus... and the worst part is, her boots are just fine. To think that a human couldn't escape from the nearly-endless catacombs residing under the foreign depths of France, while a boot could stay in ship-shape condition... that in and of itself is actually chilling and demeaning. Something that we pull over our feet could be better off, stramded in the pungent French depths of the catacombs than us, an advanced and incredibly intelligent civilization.

That sounds comfy af 2bh

Imagine this: you are left on a small raft in the middle of the ocean. No wind, no waves, just you and open space. At one point you see a small black point on the horizon. At first you shrug it off, but every time you turn around this point keeps getting bigger and bigger. After further investigation you come to the conclusion that this point is, in fact, a ship. A giant, merciless trader ship heading your way. You try to swim away as fast as you can, but waves caused by the motion of the ship make it practically impossible. That small point at first now covers up almost your entire view while unbearable hellish sound of machinery drills your ears. Finally you get dragged under the surface of water as your little raft gets shattered into pieces.
You can look into the spoiler now

being eaten by a blackhole.

a BLACKHOLE. fucking imagine that. the concept of a blackhole itself is terrifying, even when our brains can barely comprehend the size of our own planet, can barely comprehend the size of our own solar system (when said system is LESS then a grain of sand in the fucking eldritch abyss that is space) the thought of a blackhole, something that should be so mindnumbingly incomprehensible due to the fact that our brains simply aren't made to understand these vast distances and sizes, register enough in the haze of astronomical measurements that this thing is terrifying. that this thing is going to destroy me if im anywhere near this thing. (in space proportions, give or take a billion kilometers) this thing will wipe me from existence. this thing can easily consume SUNS and entire SOLAR SYSTEMS and can be the balancing force of a entire GALAXY. (which can house up to more then a 100 billion stars)

and you?

what the hell are you?

im pretty fucking autistic about space, as you can see.

forcing platonisms and using a retarded sentence composition doesn't make you autistic about a subject

now that i think about it, it's a pretty cool death.

Beibg captured and held captive by a psychopath, or a terrorist group, let's say isis, and be thrown in a dark cell or dungeon. And you wait there knowing that the next months of your life will be entirely composed of the worst torture imaginible. Only pain and angony each day, until they grow tired of you and decide to murder you. And you know they won't simply shot you because that wouldn't be interesting enough. If you were lucky, they would cut your throat with a knife. If you were unlucky... may the gods have mercy on your soul. The enemies won't.
