To me cardio is hell, but lifting is OK.

Google interval sprints.

Don't push it too hard. Start very small. Beginner routine:
Warm up jog 5 - 10 min
Stretch legs thoroughly
Find an open space, preferably on grass
Sprint at 80% maximum exertion
Rest for 1 min
Repeat

5 reps, every other day. Again, look up what sprinting does to the body. People who want to lose weight should really start.

I am trying to do the same. I eat a lot of soups as they are low cal and tasty. Just drink a lot of water as that will help. Wat3r and veggies. I eat spinach and tomatoes.

I agree with you. I have started doing something similar just recently. I jog for 5 min then walk for 5 min and repeat in a cycle for 30 min 3 times a week.

If the person is really overweight though, they should just start out with walking. I walked for 30 min to 1 hour 4 times a week, drank lots of water and ate healthy/counted carbs and it did wonders for me.
