How's that diet going for you, fat robot bros?
Shut up, I'm bulking up.
fine i guess
i'll just eat 1k-1.2k forever with the exception of going to like 1.5k on some days.
>>29599897
I'm an uber manlet and I have a bit of a belly (140 pounds at 5'3"). I look like a little kid. My beard genetics suck too. I realized the least I can do work out and try to achieve a perfect body.
For about a 2 month now, I've been eating 1500 calories a day. I've lost like 2 pounds max (and I'm not even sure if that's accurate, I have a wonky scale). I realized that I needed to be eating something closer to 1300 (my TDEE is ~1800). I hope I make it bros.
>>29600640
1500 cals a day is alright, but you gotta add cardio everyday man. Cardio helps tremendously burning fat.
>>29600640
Hey dude, just wanted to say, I'm a 5'5 manlet.
I've been limiting myself to about 1300 calories a day. I'm about half way to my goal. I've gone from being a flubby blob to bring a more defined man with still a bit of flub.
You can do it.
>>29600640
i lost 30 pounds in 4 months by eating 1k calories a day and doing somewhat intense cardio for short bursts maybe 3 times a week and i'm the same height. for cardio i just biked going full bore for 10 minutes and then did some calisthenics then back on the bike for 10 minutes until i complete my circuit.
>>29600764
Looking good robro, nice progress.
>>29600832
You should aim for lower intensity and longer time, ideally between 30 and 45 mins of cardio. It's the best for fat burning.
Also, do your workout before cardio bro.
>>29599897
15 pounds away from my goal weight, down 30 so far. feels good man
>>29600944
Nice dubs and nice progress friend, keep it up
Got a fatty to agree to eat only whole plant foods most of the time. If one month doesn't produce results, we'll need to put a limit on nuts.
>>29600902
>30-45 mins
that's what i do, i thought i mentioned but i guess i didn't. not continuously, at least not always.
pretty good
i'm hovering at 147lbs
i'd like to lose at least 8 pounds over the course of the next month or so
>>29601053
Thank you, my very original friend
>>29601114
Nuts are well known to be heavy calories rich man... drop that shit
>>29599897
lost 60 pounds since the beginning of the year but i was fucking fat so i'm still fucking fat
>>29601262
Nuts are pretty good. No one ever got morbidly obese from just nuts. Refined carbohydrates and fats are a prerequisite.
http://nutritionfacts.org/?fwp_search=nuts&fwp_content_type=video
i was eating 4000+ calories a day and i weighed only 100 pounds and still losing weight because i have diabetes and my cells werent taking in the energy
these people who think calories in calories out is a accurate system have no clue
i should weigh 800 pounds but im skinny as an anorexic
>>29601382
for someone who normally digests food calories in vs calories out is fine
>>29600764
Fuck you're too hot
>>29601376
Never said it was unhealthy lol, on the contrary it's filled with the good fats but heavy on calories, you shouldn't eat a lot of them on a cut.
>>29601443
you dont know how your food is gonna digest
theres no measurement these people make up goals in their minds they say Derp im going to limit myself to 1300 calories in one day which is an arbitrary guess and not the smartest way to go about dieting
pic related is the reality, the true system of dieting
counting calories is extremely dangerous it takes out nutrient value of foods out of the equation
>>29601530
But calories in calories out is still how it works anon. Unless your body defies the laws of physics.
>>29600848
Thanks Brobot.
>>29601482
Haha thanks Anon, that gives me motivation.
Dieting is pretty difficult because you have to do it the whole time. Exercising is a lot easier.
>>29601509
I'll restrict their nut intake if one month of just the whole plant foods rule doesn't result in loss. Nuts are less dense than the shit fat people eat.
>>29601583
>Unless your body defies the laws of physics.
mine did according to you because you cant think outside the box
have you ever heard of metabolisms?
they havnt created a unit of measure to measure it yet
metabolisms are vastly different
i eat 10 TIMES more food than my mom and she weighs 400 pounds and i weigh 100
>>29601382
Technically they are still correct. For you (and everyone) calories in = calories out. However, due to your diabetes you weren't actually having all that many calories go in. The system still works, you just need to factor in that on a cellular level, you aren't actually getting in that many calories due to the diabetes.
>>29601583
there's a difference between losing weight and getting healthy, though.
>>29601584
You were a bit hotter with your initial chub though. Got anymore pictures of that?
>>29601647
sounds like you have a tapeworm. what do doctors say when you tell them you eat 4000 calories a day?
Diet? Exercise? SCREW YOU. I'd rather die of heart failure at 30.
>>29601647
You can get less from more, but never more from less. It's possible there's a condition that prevents access to stored fat, but no one can have a net gain of energy while taking in less than they are expending. And your mom definitely eats more than you see. Try following her for a whole day some time.
>>29601676
This. Why would I want to extend my life?
>>29601691
Because life isn't worth living anyway.
>>29601647
You cannot eat 4000 calories a day and not gain weight unless you're already fat or are physically active, it's simply not possible unless you have parasites or something. That energy has to go somewhere. So either you're bullshitting or there's something in you you don't know about.
Amount of food eaten doesn't mean anything. Calories is what matters. Your mom could eat half a jar of peanut butter and you could eat 10 pounds of celery but your mom would still be getting more calories.
>>29601676
It's more likely you'll just have a shit life until shortly after retirement.
>>29601712
They said they were diabetic. So they were shitting it out?
>>29601651
no your body is a combination of systems that delegates resources to the areas it needs
its not a single fucking gum ball machine you put the calorie in and it 1-1 gives you exactly back
to burn off the calories for 1 piece of pizza you have to sprint for 2 hours
do you think anybody does that
nobody
>>29601690
>>29601712
have you guys ever heard of taking shits?????
the excess sugar i was consuming was coming out through my urine its called diabetic ketoacidosis
OH I THOUGHT MY BODY NEEDED TO BURN THAT OFF WELL APPARANTLY NOT
you guys think youre so smart and think your body transmutes from calories which arent even a real thing but a concept
>>29599897
im starting after ramadan :^)
>>29601704
That was my point.
>>29599897
Lost 4kg last 2 weeks.
>>29601772
what did you eat?
IAMORIGINAL
>>29601667
Sorry anon, I don't have any other shirtless pics of myself with the extra weight on this phone. Just ones of me wearing a shirt.
ya we can all lose weight by starving ourselves
thats like using heroin for a headache
itll work but its very chaotic and bad for your health
the best way is to just eat healthy food and drink exclusively water
no rocket science no fancy formulas you automatically lose weight without thinking about calories in food
actually this plate is the formula as a matter of fact
problem solved
>>29602214
>protein
That's the kind of reductionism laypeople should avoid. If you don't eat any nutrient-free foods, you don't need to think about protein. Every whole food contains protein.
>>29602258
fish is healthy for you and its basically substantiates the plate
it doesnt have a negative impact
although i know its entirely possible to get all your protein as a full blown vegan
and joy and entertainment ppl wanna eat some meat
idk why you went after the protein part, i would have said chuck out the low gi carbs, the vegetables already got carbs in em
Bretty gud, lost 12 pounds in two weeks. On the downside, I've been having random panic attacks and my vision is wonky.
im a month in and lost about 15 pounds
it gets really hard now
Basically if I go every second day without eating I'll lose a steady 2-3 pounds every third day, unless I pig out on the first day (then gain / lose none at all on the third day)
222 lbs right now
>>29602331
ketones bro
dont lose weight so fast just focus on being healthy
>>29602345
>day without eating
that is really dumb dude
>>29601583
calories in calories out is dumb
depends how much you work out or how fast your metabolism is or how big you are.
if you eat 4k calories you might get fat but not someone who works out an hour a day
>>29602370
What are ketones? Do I need those to be healthy?
>>29602370
Fuck if I care, my meds kill my appetite anyways, and what with being overweight there's plenty of spare energy for my body to use if it needs it. I'm a NEET who spends all day in anyways, it's not like I actually need any more calories that the fat on my body can already provide.
>>29602470
no it means youre losing weight too fast
thats why your vision is wonky
itll go back just take it a little slower
dont panic, as long as youre doing the right healthy foods and drinking water youre gonna lose weight no matter what
>>29602506
not eating makes you feel like shit its not happy
theres no need to do that to yourself thats not whats required dont be decieved by these people to believe thats whats necessary to lose weight
its not you shouldnt ever go hungry
>was doing pretty good the past couple weeks
>today went with shopped for healthier food
>fucked up by getting a Carls Jr burger afterwards
>mom pulled into the drive-through
>by then it was too late
i was so hungry, so weak
i only got the burger, but that must have been like 1,500 calories
fuck
>>29602612
I depend on my meds to kill my appetite. It's a side effect, but what it's really supposed to do doesn't even work anymore. Unrelated.
Without it, I gain weight from overeating.
This plan forces my body to get used to itself without being full of food, so that when I'm off my meds, I shouldn't notice the physical void as much as I do now. Hopefully.
I've been doing it for a few months now. It's better for me than the 1 Instant Ramen (550 calorie) meal a day plan I did a year ago.
>>29602713
if ur working out too its not too bad
not many people know this but in diet you actually need to eat more, but the right more
>>29599897
24 pounds down 20 to go.
Can't wait to go back to fried chicken and pizza.
>>29602725
just find a dietary source of fiber to shove in your diet
dont take pills thatll fuck you up in innumerous ways
sometimes your "appetite" is your body needs something like magnesium or some shit so its itching for it
and to play around with that youre asking for a nutrient deficiency
fiber has no calories and just fills ur stomach up and passes out ur body in nice big brown dumps
much better plan imo
google "high fiber foods" and eat that shit
i like chia seeds they form a gellatenous sludge in your stomach a;ppetite control
>>29602752
I've got a decent workout schedule.
But you can't be eating that shit when trying to lose weight regardless of gains.
>>29602713
It's never too late, even when you're in the drive thru you can tell the faggot to fuck off, that you're getting nothing
>>29602752
More in mass, yeah. Like it's ok if you eat a pound of broccoli. It's not ok to eat more calories, and it's definitely counter-productive to dismiss your overeating because "I exercised"
>>29602893
>calling my mother a faggot
you're right tho, i shouldn't have ordered anything
I've been weening off of sugar, but greasy food still gets me like a bear trap.
Trying to do body re-composition, I feel like it's working but I could just be deluding myself. In any case, I'm feeling a lot happier with my body and it's only been about a month. Hopefully by next summer there will be extremely apparent positive change.
pretty good, down 150 pounds
>>29602781
>Can't wait to go back to fried chicken and pizza.
you'll just gain the weight back like that
>>29602893
yeah but your body need more carbs fat and protein than usual even if ur just want to lose weight.
otherwise you will be starved
>>29602781
If you eat right for long enough, you won't want that stuff. If your lifestyle change is not permanent, your weight loss will not be. You can fit junk into a lower equilibrium though. But try to also find new stuff you enjoy.
